BACKGROUND INFORMATION:
TxDOT has requested several projects (see attached detail) be added to the current TIP.

Under the MPO’s MTP/TIP Program Administration Guidelines (Administrative Change Policy Section 6. Addition of Non-capacity Projects from TxDOT Funding Programs), this modification, calling for addition of ‘non-capacity’ projects does not require action of the TPB for approval. However, all administrative changes are brought before the board for its review prior to submitting the document to TxDOT.
This agenda item is presented for information purposes. Discussion and questions are encouraged.
ACTION REQUESTED:
The Transportation Policy Board (TPB), as a formality, is requested to acknowledge the addition of these projects to the current FY 2008 - 2011 TIP.
