The Sherman-Denison Metropolitan Planning Organization is the organization charged with transportation planning in the greater Sherman-Denison Urbanized Area (which includes the boundaries of Grayson County) and is the recipient of federal planning funds.

Every two years the SDMPO develops a Unified Planning Work Program (UPWP).  This document outlines in detail the planning efforts it intends to undertake and how the funds will be distributed across the proposed planning tasks over the two fiscal years covered by this document.

An amendment to the 2018 - 2019 UPWP is available for public review and comment and can be found by clicking HERE.  A public hearing will be held on the amendment at the September 5, 2018 Policy Board meeting.
